La cadena de hoteles Selina desembarcó en BA e inauguró un nuevo #RoofBar que, a diferencia de otros que abren por temporada estival, este nos recibe los 365 días del año.
La novedad es que tiene un techo deslizable que protege de la lluvia y en breves habrá un cerramiento corredizo que repara de los vientos en invierno.
Así que NO hay excusas para brindar bajo las estrellas, en el corazón de Palermo, con #Selina.
Un dato importante es que no es muy grande, así que les recomiendo que reserven lugar si tienen pensado ir, preferentemente en la baranda con vistas, a menos que sean más de 3 personas y sea necesario un living para poder verse bien las caras al hablar.
En cuanto al ambiente, es relajado y cool. Con Dj en vivo. No exigen mínimos de consumición. Todas las paredes del hotel están intervenidas con murales increíbles dignos de ser fotografiados pero para esto es fundamental llegar cuando todavía hay luz del día (cosa que en invierno se complica, ya que abre a las 18 hs y para ese momento se fue el sol)
La gastronomía está muy bien, cumple con la relación precio-calidad, aunque el tema de que la cocina esté situada en PB, complica la velocidad. De todas formas, los mozos son muy amables entonces compensan el delay.
Nosotras 4 compartimos: Nachos con guacamole, bastones de pollo rebozados y unas empanaditas de carne. Finalizamos con 2 postres y 2 aguas. Estuvo perfecto para 4.
En cuanto a cocktails, nos dejamos asesorar por el barman y en la primera ronda nos sorprendió con tragos de autor (en base a nuestros gustos), quedando todas muy satisfechas. Para la segunda ronda fue inevitable caer en lo que cada una suele pedirse siempre.

Partimos cerca de las 23 hs cuando de a poco empezaba a calmarse todo. Supongo que por ser día de semana (miércoles) y tener que madrugar al otro día. Quizás un sábado tiene vida hasta más tarde. Habrá que volver un finde.
Nota: A la terraza se accede en ascensor hasta el piso 9º y luego se sube por escalera el último piso. NO es accesible para personas con movilidad reducida.

Selina disembarked in BA and inaugurated a new #RoofBar that, unlike others that open during the summer season, this one receives all year.
The deal here is that it has a sliding roof that protects from the rain and sliding glass walls that repairs the wind in winter.
So there are no excuses to toast under the stars, in the heart of Palermo neighborhood, with #Selina.
An important fact is that it is a small terrace, so I recommend to make a reservation in advance, preferably on the railing with views, unless you are more than 3 people and a living room will suit better to chat.
As for the atmosphere, it is relaxed and cool. With live DJ. They do not demand minimums of consumption. All the walls of the hotel are intervened with incredible art worthy of being photographed but for this it is essential to arrive when there is still daylight (which in winter is complicated, since it opens at 6 pm and for that moment the sun went down)
As for gastronomy is very good, meets the price-quality ratio, although the kitchen is located in GF, which complicates the speed. In any case, the waiters are very friendly so that compensate the delay.
We shared: Nachos with guacamole, battered chicken sticks and some meat empanadas. We finished with 2 desserts and 2 waters. It was perfect for 4 persons.
As for cocktails, we let ourselves be advised by the barman and in the first round he surprised us with signature drinks (based on our tastes) and we were all very satisfied. For the second round it was inevitable to fall into what each one of us always have.
We left around 11 pm when little by little everything began to calm down. I guess because it's a weekday (Wednesday) and having to get up early the next day makes the plan short. I will have to return a weekend and stay longer.
Note: you have to take the elevator to the 9th floor and then have to walk up one last floor, so it is NOT ACCESSIBLE for people with reduced mobility.
