Palermo Street Art
English version at end of post Los tours para ver graffitis en la ciudad de Buenos Aires vienen creciendo desde hace un tiempo. Barrios como Palermo, La Boca, San Telmo, Colegiales y Barracas son de los más intervenidos y se han convertido no sólo en una atracción para los turistas sino también para los propios porteños.
El Street Art (o Arte Urbano) ya es parte del paisaje, siendo cada vez más aceptado y solicitado, incluso por dueños de locales comerciales, restaurantes, edificios y casas. Muchas veces se termina asociando un determinado lugar (un bar, una pizzería) por el mural que tienen pintado.
Subtes, trenes, pasos a nivel y puentes se han sumado a esta tendencia dándole vida y color a la ciudad.
Lamentablemente muchas de estas obras artísticas (y ni hablar de las propiedades privadas) se ven afectadas por el vandalismo que sufren las paredes a diario. Siempre es importante respetar la propiedad privada y espero que se encuentre rápidamente una solución a este tema.
Hoy les dejo un recorrido para que puedan disfrutar y sacar fotos de ALGUNOS de los mejores murales que tiene el barrio de Palermo para cuando estén de visita por la zona. En el futuro iré avanzando por los demás barrios, pero en mi opinión, Palermo es la "meca" de esta movida y era el primero por el cual quería empezar. De todas formas seleccionando sólo 9, me quedo corta.
Primicia: Uno de los proyectos que tenía para este año era que "Turista en Buenos Aires" tenga su propio mural y de esta forma seguir fomentando uno de los estilos de arte que más disfruto, con una temática bien porteña. felizmente, este proyecto pudo concretarse. Hoy sólo les cuento su ubicación, pero tendrán que esperar al post de la semana que viene para enterarse de qué trata y todo lo que fue su proceso.

Palermo Street Art Walk
Tours to explore graffiti in the city of Buenos Aires on foot are a trend from some time. Neighbourhoods such as Palermo, La Boca, San Telmo, Colegiales and Barracas are the busiest, an authentic attraction both for tourists and citizens.
Street Art is part of the everyday scenery and hugely accepted and claimed by owners of stores, restaurants, buildings and homes. More than once a well-known place (a pub or a pizzeria) is associated with the murals painted. For instance the under, trains, level crossing and bridges have adopted this type of art making the city vivid and exciting.
Sadly many of these artistic expressions -as well as private property- are affected by vandalism reflected at facades daily. It is always important to respect private property and I think a solution must be found immediately.
Today I provide you a map so that you can enjoy and take photos of SOME of the best walls in Palermo. In the future Street Art will spread to other sites but I think that Palermo is the cradle of this trend and the first place to start the tour.
Breaking: One of the projects I had in mind this year was TEBA's wall to keep promoting one of the artistic expressions I most enjoy. With absolute joy I can announce that the dream came true. The only thing I will reveal today is the location, but you will have to wait until the next week to find out about what it is and its process.
