Presidente Bar
English version at end of post Uno de los bares más sofisticados de Recoleta, con uno de los mejores cantineros de la ciudad. @soyelcantinero nos sorprende en @presidentebar con deliciosas obras de arte.
La primera vez que visité este bar fue hace casi 3 años, recién abrían, yo había visto la foto de un trago de un Obelisco que me encantó y claramente tenía que ir a conocer.
Fuimos en grupo de amigos. Pedimos un par de tapas y algunos cocktails. Dimos el visto bueno por ambientación, atención, tragos y comida. Lo precios iban de la media para arriba pero el elegante barrio de Recoleta lo justificaba.
Presidente no tardó en explotar y hacerse un lugar habitué para la gente que disfruta la buena coctelería. Incluso tienen un salón más íntimo ("La Biblioteca" o "Despacho") donde invitan a pasar a esos clientes que solicitan etiquetas más caras, para que puedan ser atendidos a medida en otra barra (ojo que con esto no quiero decir que uno no pueda solicitar pasar a conocer, pero no es algo que ellos difundan mucho por esta misma razón de intimidad).
Este 2019 volví a visitar. En esta oportunidad, con mi marido, más tranquilos y con ganas de probar nuevos cocktails. El que más nos gustó se llama "Jardín Inusual" (foto con pirámide de cristal), es suave y fresco. Pero claro, no pueden dejar de probar "Buenos Aires Zombie" (el Obelisco), una mezcla de Ron y fruta, o "Presidente" que es el cocktail emblema con sabor intenso a base de Ron+Martini+Licor de Naranjas. (los cocktails rondan USD8,00 y USD10,00).
Nuestra elección culinaria fue un Risotto de Hongos y una Hamburguesa de Carne Patagónica.
Una delicia. (Las entradas rondan los USD8 y los principales USD20)
Yo creo que quien visite este lugar se va a llevar una experiencia Elegante y Nacional, ya que Seba García (El Cantinero) se empeñó en diseñar un bar que, desde los nombres hasta los ingredientes de sus productos, sean 100% autóctonos y de primera calidad.

One of the most sophisticated bars in Recoleta, with one of the best bartenders in the city. @soyelcantinero surprises us in @Presidentebar with delicious works of art.
The first time I visited this bar was almost 3 years ago, it had just opened and I had seen the photo of an Obelisk cocktail that I loved and clearly had to taste.
I went with friends. We ordered a couple of tapas and some cocktails. We gave the approval for setting, attention, drinks and food. The prices went from the average up but the elegant neighborhood of Recoleta justified it.
President did not take long to explode and become a daily place visited by people who enjoy good cocktails. The bar even has a more intimate room ("The Library") where they invite those customers who request more expensive labels, so they can be catered for in another bar (I do not mean that you I can not request to know this room, but it is not something that they spread a lot for this same reason of intimacy).
This 2019 I visited again. This time, with my husband, calmer and wanting to try new cocktails. The one we liked the most is called "Unusual Garden" (photo with glass pyramid), it is soft and fresh. But of course, you can not miss "Buenos Aires Zombie" (the Obelisk), a mixture of rum and fruit, or the "President" that is the emblem cocktail with intense flavor based on Rum + Martini + Orange Liqueur. (Cocktails are around USD8.00 and USD10.00)
Our culinary choice was a Mushroom Risotto and a Patagonian Beef Burger. A delight (entrees are around USD8 and the main USD20)
I believe that whoever visits this place will have an Elegant and National experience, since Seba García (bartender and owner) was determined to design from scratch a bar that, from the names to the ingredients used an products, are 100% Argentine and of first quality.
