Porque ver Buenos Aires desde arriba tiene otro sabor, en este post te dejo cinco Roof-bars que valen la pena ser visitados.
Salón 1923 - Palacio Barolo
Empiezo por el más nuevo de todos y que también corresponde a la foto de portada de este artículo. Con ustedes el nuevo bar del Palacio Barolo.
Hay 2 formas de acceder a este café-bar:
1º Pagar la visita guiada al Palacio (no tiene desperdicio) y terminar el tour en este café. + info
2º Acceder directamente al café, pagando previamente un ticket en la misma boletería de entrada, que implica una consumición mínima de USD 8,00.-
La carta es acotada y con inclinación italiana. Café, pizzas, Aperol Spritz, Paninis y Malbecs a precios razonables.
Las mesas están dentro del salón, lo que permite que sea apto para días de lluvia, viento o mucho frío. También tiene acceso a una pequeña terraza para tomar de parados o poder fumar, que es la que va a brindarnos las tan deseadas vistas del Congreso de la Nación.
Nota: Los sábados el acceso directo al bar está habilitado hasta las 14 hs porque luego el edificio (de oficinas) cierra y sólo se puede acceder al bar por medio de las visitas guiadas que son hasta la noche y estas van acompañadas de violines y degustación de vinos. Un lujo.

Crystal Bar - Alvear Icon Tower
Crystal bar también es de las últimas incorporaciones y al igual que el Salón 1923, es apto para cualquier pronóstico del tiempo ya que es un lugar vidriado.
Está ubicado en el pis 32º de la torre Alvear en Puerto Madero, por lo que las vistas que obtendremos serán del Puente de Mujer y los rascacielos de la zona. No toman reservas y abre a las 19 hs, así que lo mejor es llegar temprano y conseguir una buena ubicación contra el ventanal para poder ver el atardecer.
La buena noticia es que la mesas de corredor externo (foto) no exigen consumición mínima, lo mismo sucede con los lugares de la barra. Pero las mesas que están dentro del salón principal exigen un mínimo de USD30 por persona. + info

Alvear RoofBar - Hotel Alvear
En el piso 11º de uno de los hoteles más elegantes y sofisticados que tiene BA, se encuentra este hermoso bar que sólo cuenta con 2 mesas techadas y todo lo demás queda a cielo abierto. Por esta razón, en días de lluvia no abre (aunque prometieron un techo corredizo a futuro). No toman reservas y abre de 19 hs a 02:00 am, de martes a sábados. Exigen una consumición mínima de USD14,00 por persona. + info

SkyBar del hotel Pulitzer
Pionero en el rubro, este lugar hay que aprovecharlo cuando funciona en temporada primavera-verano. Sólo tiene mesas afuera así que si llueve no abre y otro tema es que suelen reservarlo mucho para eventos así que nunca está de más el llamado para no clavarnos en la puerta sin poder acceder. Suele ser un boom para los oficinistas de la zona, dada su ubicación en pleno microcentro porteño. + info

Dome - Hotel Tango de Mayo.
El Hotel Tango de Mayo cuenta con esta terraza hace mucho tiempo pero no fue hasta hace 2 años que la habilitó al público, en temporada estival para que cualquiera pueda acercarse a tomar unos drinks, de martes a viernes de 18 a 24 hs. No toman reservas y no abren si llueve.
Al igual que es skybar, se encuentra en zona céntrica pero el distintivo de Dome es que su vista da a las cúpulas de los edificios de la emblemática Av. de Mayo (de ahí su nombre).

5 Rooftops in BA
Because seeing Buenos Aires from the heights has another flavor, here are five Roof-Bars that are worth visiting.
Salón 1923 at Barolo Palace
I start with the newest of all and it also corresponds to the cover photo of this article.
Salon 1923 is located on the 16th floor of the Barolo Palace, in downtown BA.
There are 2 ways to access this café-bar: 1º Pay the Barolo guided tour (totally worth it) and finish the tour in this cafe. + info 2º Access directly to the bar, previously paying a ticket in the same Ground Floor ticket office, which implies a minimum consumption of USD 8.00.-
The menu is short and with Italian inclination. Coffee, pizzas, Aperol Spritz, Paninis and Malbecs at reasonable prices.
The tables are inside, which allows it to be suitable for rainy, windy or very cold days. It also has access to a small terrace, which will give you the much desired Congress views.
Note: On Saturdays, the bar access is enabled until 2:00 pm because when the (office) building closes, you can only access the bar through guided tours that are until night and these are accompanied by violins and wine tasting.

Crystal bar at the Alvear Icon Tower
Crystal bar is also one of the latest additions and, like Salón 1923, it is suitable for any weather since it is glazed. Located on the 32nd floor of the Alvear Icon Tower in Puerto Madero, we will achieve some skyscrapers views and the iconic Woman Bridge. They do not take reservations and it opens at 7 pm, so it is best to arrive early and get a good location close to the window to be able to enjoy the sunset and views. The good news is that the external corridor tables (photo) do not require minimum consumption, the same happens with the bar seats. But the tables that are inside the main room, requires a minimum of USD30 per person. + info

Alvear Roof Bar - Hotel Alvear
On the 11th floor of one of the most elegant and sophisticated hotels that BA has, is this beautiful bar that only has 2 covered tables and everything else is open sky. For this reason, on rainy days it does not open (although they promised a future sliding roof). They do not take reservations and it opens from 7pm to 2am, from Tuesday to Saturday. They require a minimum consumption of USD14.00 per person. + info

SkyBar at the Pulitzer hotel
Pioneer, this place must be visited when it is open during the spring-summer season. It only has tables outside so if it rains it does not open and another issue is that they usually book it a lot for private events, so it never hurts to call in advanced and double check availability. It is an after-office hit, given its location in downtown Buenos Aires. + info

Dome at Tango de Mayo Hotel
Tango de Mayo hotel has had this terrace for a long time but it was not until 2 years ago that it enabled the public, in the spring-summer season so that anyone can come and have a drink, Tuesday through Friday from 18 to 24 hs. They do not take reservations and they do not open if it rains. As Skybar, it is located in downtown area but the hallmark of Dome is that its view overlooks the domes of the buildings of the emblematic Av. De Mayo (hence its name).
