El éxito está en los detalles. Es por eso que Anasagasti se convierte en una de las opciones que recomiendo para que vayan a disfrutar con amigos o en pareja.
Su ubicación es inmejorable. A pasos de la estación de subte "Bulnes" (Línea D) hay un pasaje "Anasagasti" (de ahí su nombre), y si bien no entra en la categoría de "bares ocultos", el hecho de no tener un cartel en su puerta, lo termina convirtiendo en cierto modo, en uno de ellos. Sólo hay un timbre de bronce con figura de León reservándose lo mejor puertas adentro.
La propuesta es ambiciosa. Una antigua casona de 1919 de tres pisos, refaccionada íntegramente para ofrecer en cada piso un servicio diferenciado. Cuando me tocó visitarlo (dentro de su primer mes de vida) sólo estaba inaugurada la planta baja, aunque muy gentilmente me invitaron a conocer el primer piso, donde funcionará un restaurante "en pasos", y el segundo piso simula una terraza gracias a sus plantas decorativas y techo de vidrio móvil que será muy codiciado en las noches de verano. Este último es más exclusivo, ideal para un festejo, ya que cuenta con una segunda barra (la primer barra esta en planta baja) y sólo 2 livings.
La atención de quienes atienden el Bar se siente apenas se abre la puerta y para mí eso es muy importante a la hora de visitar un lugar, sobre todo si es la primera vez.
Fuimos un grupo de 8 amigos y algunos tenían duda de qué cocktail pedir. La mujer que nos atendió se percató de esto y automáticamente vino el bartender a recomendarnos opciones en base al paladar de cada uno.
Los tragos ahumados son su marca registrada. Van a ver mucho fuego y aromas de todo tipo. De hecho la foto de portada de este post, es justo el momento donde un trago está siendo ahumado por "Palo Santo" dentro de un farol.
Me ha tocado ir a ciertos bares donde la ambientación y los tragos son excelentes y la comida no acompaña, o las porciones son diminutas a precios irrisorios. Anasagasti se luce en este sentido. Pedimos varias opciones de tapas y todos coincidimos en la buena calidad de la comida porque realmente la disfrutamos.
Mi recomendación es que elijan distintas tapas mientras prueban los cocktails. Y en el caso de que apunten a cenar con todas las letras, el lugar ofrece una opción de plato principal "Hamburguesa Anasagasti" la cual es generosa y viene acompañada con papas. (la foto de arriba es una tapa)
Para el postre hay una degustación de 3 tortas servidas en copas, muy ricas e ideales para compartir entre 2 o 3 personas.
La ambientación esta muy bien lograda. Luces tenues, mesas ratonas y sillones de estilo señorial. Se puede ver una araña en el medio del salón, la barra con taburetes y un espejo de fondo . Para los más observadores hay cuervos que forman parte de la decoración y tienen que ver con el misterio, la magia y el buen augurio, casi como en una película de Hitchcok.
A la hora de retirarnos, nos sorprendieron con un ponche que terminó siendo un cierre perfecto para una noche de amigos. Sin dudas volveré para experimentar el piso del restaurante.

Success is the art of everyday toiling and that's why Anasagasti heads the list of options to enjoy a lovely night out with friends or your couple.
It's location is exceptional by being near Bulnes subway station (Línea D [Line D]), where there is a Street Alley called "Anasagasti" which has no signature in the front, so in some way it seems a "hidden bar". There is a incredible bronze ring within the head of a lion which anticipates the standard of this pub.
I must admit that the proposal is more than ambitious. It is a three-storey old house from 1919 which was restored wholly to offer a top quality differenciated service for each floor. When I visited Anasagasti, it was inaugurated just some days ago. Only the ground floor was available; however I was kindly invited to the first floor, where a restaurant was to be opened. Besides its second floor resembles a terrace due to its plants and a retractable glass roof which is busy on summer nights. The latter is ideal for a private celebration, as it has a second bar (the first one on the ground floor) and only two tables and some sofas.
The attention of the staff is present since you open the door and that is really important for me when I look for a pub, especially if it is my first time. We were eight friends and some of them were douftbul about the cocktail to order. The waitress realized about this and immediately called for the bartender for some help taking into account the tastes of every of us.
Flaming beverages are the specialty of the house. Needless to say that you will see fire and feel all kind of smells. The cover photo of this post is exactly in the moment where a drink is being smoked inside a lantern.
I have been in pubs where the interior and the drinks are excellent but the gastronomy is upsetting, or the portions are not generous and really expensive. Anasagasti, on the contrary, is a crystal clear exception. We asked for different types of tapas and we all agreed about the quality on that aspect. It was simply delicious!
I would suggest choosing different types of tapas while enjoying cocktails. Should you be starving, there is a main dish available called "Hamburguesa Anasagasti" [Anasagasti Hamburger], accompanied by french fries. Besides for the dessert there are three cakes served in a cup, more than tasty and suitable for sharing.
The interior design is lovely: dim lights, coffee tables and vintage sofas. There is a candelabrum in the middle of the room, stools next to the bar and a mirror on the back. For those punctilious there are crows which are part of the interior design and related to mystery, magic and positive auguries. I must admit I felt like starring a Hitchcok movie.
Before leaving we were surprised with a punch which was the perfect ending for a night out with friends. Doubtless I will be back very soon to experience the lovelely atmosphere of Anasagasti.
